This is an introduction to beekeeping course hosted by West Central Ohio Beekeepers Association. Class will be held on Jan 26th, 2013 at Cedar Bog in Urbana, OH from 8:00AM to 5:00PM Topics covered will include: What Beekeeping is about, Beekeeping Equipment, Seasonal Management, Honey Bee Pests and Diseases, Where to get Honey Bees, Basic Honeybee Biology, Colony Management, and Sources of Nectar and Pollen. Cost is $50 for individual or $65 per couple. Course book “Bee-sentials” and lunch will provided.
