Feeding Variants to Improve Hive Health & Production
In line with pests and disease controls together with improving genetics; the importance of timely and quality feeding has to be part of every sustainable beekeeping practice. Proper feeding requires understanding general seasonal variations together with localized nectar bursts and dearths. Alex will explore these issues and further differentiate feeding for starvation, stimulation, and nutrition all of which contribute to improved hive health and productions. Time permitting Alex will also discuss some “off-road” feeding variants to inspire or give you pause.
