2019 Guernsey-Noble Beekeepers Beginner Beekeeping Class

Objective:  Learn about the basics of beekeeping, pollination and honey collection.  You will learn what equipment is needed, how to handle honey bees, problems for our bee population and resources from our local bee club to assist you in getting started.

Sessions: There will be two sessions in the Beginner’s Beekeeper class.   There will be a 5 hour classroom session on Saturday, February 02th at  Southeast Regional Extension Office and a 2 hour on-site session at Don Crock’s apiary at that later day.

Cost:     $35.00 includes book, membership to the Guernsey Noble Beekeepers Association and other incidentals.   Lunch is included.  For additional persons in same household a fee of $10.00 per person.
