The objective of this queen rearing course is to provide beekeepers with an overview of basic queen rearing techniques and hands-on experience. Lecture and demonstration will be used to give beekeepers the opportunity to see the actual steps involved in queen rearing. Each beekeeper will receive a grafting frame, cell cups, and a grafting tool. The cost for the queen rearing class is $95 per person. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Attending beekeepers should have some basic queen rearing experience and at least two years of general beekeeping experience.
