Job Opportunities

The Ohio State Beekeepers Association will occasionally have the need to hire independent contractors or will have a request for bids on goods and services.  These will be listed below if there are any opportunities available at this time.

Unless stated otherwise,  all jobs are for independent contractors and will be issued a 1099.  Selected applicants are required to sign a contract and submit a W9 as a condition of being awarded the position.

Traveling Speaker – 2019

Ohio State Beekeepers Association has developed a Traveling Speaker Program that provides high quality presentations on sustainable beekeeping practices to Ohio beekeeping associations. The Traveling Speaker will be provided with a prepared PowerPoint presentation and presentation guidelines.

Up to six (6) educators will visit a project total of 50 local associations to provide training in OSBA presentations: Monitoring for Sustainability, Sustainable Beekeeping: Nucs, Small Scale Queen Rearing for the Single Apiary. Due to the wide variety of topics, speakers may be selected for only talks they have expertise in.

Completed applications must be submitted to by the December 15, 2018 deadline.
